Puma Chipset I wish I had done more research on this modem. The CM700 uses a Puma Chipset and there is a known issue with it dropping signals. Just google it.Sure enough, as soon as I set this modem up with xfinity – I experienced it. It probably occurs once or twice every hour and it would take 30 – 60 seconds for an internet connection to return. This is unacceptable for online gaming or video streaming. Now, when this modem worked, it was great. I got above advertised network speeds. But I’m going to have to return this and look into other options.

GTA 5 fast is what it is. First, 2 days ago this refurbed was running great, all of a sudden everyone in the house said they lost connection, I checked and this thing lost internet connection, I checked the modem and the circle light was off then it blinked then turned on and been on since then with no problems. My only concern is that it is a refurbish and it dropped signal which I bought amazon assurance for.So, as we know, the worst streaming game is GTA5 online, I had trouble with my old modem/router. I paired this with the router netgear AC1200 and I cannot believe that I am able to stay in a lobby of 24 people (before this I kept getting kicked from the lobby with only 4 people). This game takes 3 to 5 minutes to load and the last I need is to lose connection and reload.SPECIAL NOTE: I am only using IPv4 without IPv6 and I am better connected so far.
