Fast when it works, but regularly drops signal My last router was extremely slow (getting well below the speed that Comcast alleged), so I upgraded to this one. The good news is that when this one is working, the internet is noticeably much faster than previous routers I’ve used. The bad news: it constantly stops working and requires re-starting. ie: the WiFi becomes unusable until it’s restarted. Sometimes it lasts a week without needing to do this, and other times it needs to be re-started almost ten times a day (no exaggeration). As someone who works from home and regularly has business video meetings, this has been a disaster having it cut out during important situations. (Though I imagine even someone just surfing the internet for fun wouldn’t want to deal with the constant re-starting either.)

Not so good for MANY devices connected to it… Originally right after I got this, I reviewed it and said it was faster than my OLD Aris… That is still true…But, the more I added to this router, the worse it got.I have a total of about 24 devices connected to it. Only 4 are Wired…all others are wireless. My security camera system kept disconnecting random cameras and reconnecting… Sometimes it would totally disconnect a camera and not come back until I rebooted the Modem… Couldn’t even ping the camera..Yet, everything would work great once rebooted… for about 30 minutes…Even my ROKU TV (TCL) would get really bad resolution to where you could tell it was having trouble receiving data fast enough… Speedtest on my Provider (spectrum) was always around 20.. Can’t blame anything on them…It got to where I was having to reboot the Aris so much, 3 or 4 times a night, that I installed a remote controlled Wall outlet to kill power to it!!!Aris tech support was no help. Denied all…
