Not totally compatible with Comcast. We purchased this modem because of it’s high ratings and that the description states that the modem is certified by Comcast, our internet provider. The cable modem was easy to set up and connect to the devices in our home. However, we have been having issues the internet signal. After talking to the Motorola technicians as well as the internet technicians, it appears the modem is not 100% compatible with Comcast. Unfortunately, it’s been over 60 days so now we are stuck with a fairly expensive modem that can’t be used. I submitted this review to help other Comcast buyers in the selection of a cable modem.

Motorola – Quality Engineering OK: I’m a power user on the internet. I pay for speed and I expect it to be there when I use it.The ISP units were flaky. Changed their unit four times and finally said, there has got to be a better solution to equipment that is intermittent by design. Bought this unit, and can’t say enough nice things. It works better than the ISP units, and has not disappointed me for one day. Nice. Bonus: Pays for itself in one year. Thanks Motorola for making a quality product.
