Don’t do it. This thing was fine for a couple of weeks until it no longer would proceed past “Registration complete” on Modem status page. I did attempt power cycling and did a factory restore, same condition. Plugged in a Motorola Surfboard and worked fine. Stay away from refubished network products. Using a standalone modem and Archer C7 router now happily. Just spend the money, it’s not worth the headache to save a few bucks on this refurb.

Bad Experience I bought this because I have done well with Amazon’s refurbished items before, but this was a flop. It did not work from the gate. I had a comcast tech come who spent 2 hours at my home and still could not get it online. I was told these particular models bought refurbished are a problem. I was also told to go and buy the new one as they are a great model when new. I did and am very happy with that. I returned this. I did receive my money back which was good.

If you want an unreliable modem/router, this is the one ! ! ! ! Purchased this in November of 2017. Worked great for a month or so. they the trouble started. I was blaming my ISP, had new lines run, tested, etc… The item is in a N600 case, but it is a n100 unit. You get what you pay for. Now I must buy a new unit because this one was bubble gummed together enough to make it past 90 days..
